"Sharvas" is 1 month now!!! Happy that he is doing good and enjoying people around him specially his lill sis :-). God knows what the babies will be dreaming when in sleep & depicting all the emotions...
Funniest part of his growing period now is putting him to bed :)))). At night when he sleeps we keep rocking him in our hands until he falls asleep and then put him in his bed. That way he ensures that he is not missing his Indian "cradle". As soon as we lay him on his bed, within a second he fights back and cries for more rocking!!!
First it's always mamma's turn...n will last till 2-3 attempts. Then enters the all time favorite rocker :-), granddad. It's not always easy to defeat him ;-), but Sharvas always sees that there are more people to enjoy the rock & roll. Next it's grandma's turn, followed by papa's. After a good 10-15 minute workout for dad, if we are really lucky that day, we can see him on his bed. Else the cycle continues with mom n finally there is a great sigh of relief from everyone once he is in his king size bed and in deep sleep.
It goes without saying that Sharvas sees that he get's all the fun of rock & roll from every hand and he makes us happy amidst all the hard work(?) with one beautiful heavenly smile :-).

Smile :-)
I wonder how easy it is to smile when you aren't really happy...
Well the reason behind this posting is that everyday when I get down at Metro station ,to drop my sweet daughter, I always see a cheerful young man distributing free morning newspapers to every passerby, with a wonderful smile and a "goed Morgen!" (which means good morning), even though all are strangers to him.
I don't know the amount he gets for his job, but definitely he's not paid for his smile, coz I see his colleagues standing just beside him with pile of papers in their hands waving at the people, without any expressions! Be it a rainy , or a windy, snowy or a gloomy day, or for that matter any other day when he is sick or is in trouble, (of course every human being is not happy always) you can still see him with the same impressive smile .
All of us might be having ups and downs in life, or going through a very tough time, but it hardly takes a second of ur's, to just smile at a person you know. It's not that just by smiling all ur worries are gone, but definitely they are not doubled. Infact u may get diverted from the problems atleast for a short while, which enables you to think from fresh, where who knows you might get an optimum solution to ur problem!
I atleast started replying "nee dank jou" (which means "no thanks") to him, coz I can't read Dutch, with a "smile"...
SO enjoy your day with a beautiful smile, which might brighten up somebodies soul and for sure makes you beautiful within.
